When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.
Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:
meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
is appropriate for the full range of school activities
is suitable for all body shapes.

Students usually wear their normal school uniform three days a week and sports uniform the other two days. Mufti (regular or themed clothes) days happen throughout the year to fundraise for charities chosen by the Student Representative Council, with plenty of notice given.
Summer uniform is worn in Terms 1 and 4, and winter uniform in Terms 2 and 3. There may be some crossover in the first two weeks of Terms 2 and 4, dependent on weather conditions; however, by week 3 it is expected all students be in full winter uniform (Term 2) and full summer uniform (Term 4).
The Galston Public School uniform shop is run by volunteers from our P&C and offers the complete range of uniform items required by our students, from socks to hats and everything in between. Orders can be placed online via Flexischools, and when filled are delivered to your child's classroom.
In addition to new uniform items, the uniform shop also offers a wide selection of pre-loved uniforms, at extremely reasonable prices. The shop is located in the canteen, adjacent to the school office and is open on Tuesday afternoons 2.30-3.00pm for face-to-face sales. Enquiries can be directed to uniformshop@galstonpandc.org.au.
