School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Swimming Carnival

Parents and carers are welcome to attend our swimming carnival at Galston Aquatic Centre for students older than or turning 8 this year.

ANZAC Day Ceremony

Parents and carers are welcome to attend as we honour the lives and contributions of those from our community both past and present who have served in Australia's armed forces.

Cross Country Carnival

Date: Thursday 7 May

Time: 10:30am-3pm

Parents and carers are welcome to attend our whole school cross country carnival at Fagan Park Galston.

Athletics Carnival

Date: Wednesday 1 July

Time: 9am-3pm

Parents and carers are welcome to attend our whole school athletics carnival at Greenway Oval Cherrybrook.

140 Years of History Heritage Dress Up Day / Education Week Open Day

Date: Monday 3 August

Time:

Families of current students and community members are invited to attend our formal assembly and open day celebrating quality public education in New South Wales. Activities include writing using traditional ink and quills, maypole dancing and traditional schoolyard games.

140 Years of History Open Day / Grandparents Day

Date: Tuesday 20 October

Time: 10am-2pm

Past students, community members and families of current students are invited to attend this special celebration of 140 years of quality public education in Galston. Events include open classrooms, 140 Years of Education museum display and formal assembly.

140 Years of History Celebration Dinner, Galston Club

Volunteers Breakfast
