Financial contributions and assistance

There are some costs associated with going to school that you may find it helpful to plan and budget for.

These include:

  • uniforms

  • school books and equipment

  • excursions

  • co-curricular activities.

Voluntary school contributions

Like all NSW public schools, we can request contributions to enhance our educational and sporting programs including elective subjects. School contributions help provide additional educational resources for the benefit of students. Payment is voluntary.

For more information, visit the Voluntary School Contribution policy.

Financial assistance

If you are unable to pay school contributions because of financial hardship, you may be eligible for assistance from the school.

Our principal will ensure no student or family suffers any discrimination or embarrassment over the inability to pay school contributions.

It is the aim of the NSW Government that all students have equal access to a quality education, irrespective of a family's financial status. To achieve this, the NSW Government grants each school a yearly fixed and limited fund, from which schools may offer financial assistance to attending families.

These funds can be made available, on a needs basis, to help families meet the cost or partially meet the cost of school items/events. Please note, that for certain items/events, financial assistance may not be available, as the school may have already contributed towards the cost of the item/event.

If you require financial assistance to meet or partially meet the cost of a school item/event, please complete the Student Assistance Form and return it to the school office.
